The Age of Fishes Museum, Canowindra Canowindra is situated in the Central West of New South Wales, Australia. The Age of Fishes Museum will eventually contain more than three thousand fish specimens, almost complete and some new to science.  The fossils bear evidence of a mass kill event that took place some 360 million years ago in late Devonian times - the "Age of Fishes".

The Textbook League   TTL claims to be the only web site where you can find independent, expert appraisals of textbooks that publishers are selling to United States schools right now.  Their chief activity is the publication of The Textbook Letter which reviews schoolbooks, with the emphasis on middle-school and high-school books, in history, geography, social studies, health, and the various branches of natural science.  Sadly, to my knowledge, we have no comparable organisation in Australia.

Dave's Evolution Page David Ussery is currently an associate professor at the Center for Biological Sequence analysis (CBS) in the Institute of Biotechnology, Danish Technical University, in Lyngby, Denmark. He grew up in Arkansas, and claims that by the age of 14 he was an ardent Creationist.  However, by the time he got his B.A. in Chemistry at William Jewell College, he was convinced that perhaps the creationists didn't have ALL of the answers.

Derrick Neill is an Arizona science teacher/author/speaker/debater.  He  is particularly concerned about creationism in the public schools.  Another of his concerns is discrimination in the Boy Scouts of America.  Derrick has written a novel Duck Egg Blue which specifically deals with these two issues.  It was recently an Institute for First Amendment Studies "Book of the Month" selection and Dead Trees Review said " ... everyone should read 'Duck Egg Blue.'''
